A GHS container label is not a design job. It is six required elements, and five of them follow from the chemical's classification rather than from anything you choose. The six elements a label has to carry
OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1200(f) requires six things on the label of a shipped container: the product identifier, the signal word, the hazard statements, the precautionary statements, the pictograms, and the supplier's name, address and telephone number. The European rules under CLP EC 1272/2008 Article 17 ask for the same set, plus the nominal quantity for a package sold to the general public.
Five of the six are determined by the classification. Once a chemical is classified, its signal word is either Danger or Warning, its hazard statements are the H codes that classification assigns, its pictograms are the diamonds those codes map to, and its precautionary statements are drawn from the P codes for those hazard classes. The only element that is yours to supply is the supplier block, which is why the preview above names it as a field rather than filling it with a guess.
That is also why a label and a safety data sheet have to agree. Section 2 of an SDS and the front of a label are the same classification stated twice. When they disagree, one of them is wrong, and a customer or a marketplace reviewer will eventually notice. Both drafts here are built from one classification record, so they cannot drift apart.
What this generator will not do
It will not classify a blend for you. A formulation is classified from its ingredients and their concentrations by CLP EC 1272/2008 Annex I summation, which is a different calculation and a different path — the mixture path. It will not invent a classification for a compound with no published data either; that is what the R&D SDS exists for, and it discloses its read-across reasoning instead of pretending to certainty.
And it will not tell you a label is approved. Nothing generated here is certified or audit-passed, because no document generator can establish either. Every label is a draft for review by a qualified EHS professional before official use, and it says so on its own face.
